Drama 11 Students from CHDHS share Healthy Relationship Message

On May 7, the Cole Harbour District High School (CHDHS) Drama 11 class visited Grade 9 students at Sir Robert Borden Junior High School, Ross Road School and the Eastern Passage Education Centre to present a Collective Creation Performance on Healthy Relationships.

In the creation of this show, the Drama 11 class collaborated with the CHDHS's Cavway Youth Health Centre and the Public Health Nurse to create a piece that drew from the hearts, minds and personal experiences of the students. The Drama 11 class would like to thank students at all three schools for being such amazing audiences! The Drama 11 students are happy to have had the chance to share such a positive message with their peers.

Sackville High Marks International Day Against Homophobia & Transphobia

Sackville High School's GSA recently held a day of fun and adventure to celebrate the International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia. Students had a 'dress the rainbow' contest, a dance jam in the foyer, a face painting celebration and a rainbow banner signing. Students and staff were also invited to wear rainbow ribbons. Fun was had by all!
